I just wanted a new journal entry already >.<

Well it's Christmas time to happy holidays to everyone.

I'm just chillin and will be starting a big project involving drawing and coloring and fun stuff. And the cool part is that I'll post it up on dA when I'm done.

When I'm not drawing this break, I'll likely be playing video games or something. But yeah. I'll be keeping busy.




And i have other things i need to work on....but i'm too lazy to list them right now so i'll put it later. Maybe.

First of all, for all the people who knew me, you all know that I disappeared almost completely for a few months. After several attempts to return, I have failed to update my profile frequently. So what will become of my artwork in the future?

Well as some of you may know, I am studying to be a video game programmer so most of my work will be actual handwritten programs. That can't really be put on DA but there is other work which I have been working on that can be displayed here.

Although I'm taking programming classes, I am also doing some 3D work so I'll post some of my work up. That's mostly what my future posts will be, 3D models, but I'll try hard to do hand drawn and computer drawn work as well. Just it won't be my biggest priority so I'm sorry, but don't expect too much.

I'm not gone but I'm not likely to have frequent posts. I'll try my best tho.

I feel so ashamed!

I have not been able to be on DA for so long, and when I do get on, I can only be here for a little while.

When I had started the Tropiclova collab with and , I had thought that I wuld finally have time do that and other artwork. Unfortunately I don't and it's frustrates me so.

After all, my artwork is something I do for fun since the career I am studying for will not involve artwork (even though I have a couple art classes right now).

I will try my best to finish the collab and do more artwork for the benefit of all of the DA community.

I am buried under a mountain of messages and deviations and tons and tons of journals which say absolutely nothing important!

Plus, school has taken sooo much time out of my days that I have fallen behind in all sorts of things, including DA and video games and artwork.

It seems impossible to catch up! My collab with and is gonna take a while... but I am trying please don't kill me!



Can I ask a really big favor of all you journal writers? When you write a journal, try to write about important announcements and stuff. Its frustrating trying to read 50 journals about how you were bored and then you wrote a long journal about nothing that is not even entertaining. Please, for the sake of everyone that reads through all these journals (and I do cuz I expect they have important info) try to keep the random uninformative unentertaining and pointless journals to a minimum. IDK if anyone else feels this way but I've been a bit annoyed about it. Even tho this is kinda one of those journals...

I would greatly appreciate criticism from people, and when I say criticism, I mean contructive criticism. Comments and ideas which would point what I've done badly, what I've done well, and what I should do to improve my artwork. This would greatly help me to improve the quality of my artwork. Comments like "cool" or "that sucks" won't help me to create successful and entertaining work.

It's a simple request. I know not everyone has the time, patience, or ability to write long critiques but I would appreciate a feew words to point what I did well or how to improve on my work.


On other news, I have already started school (college if you must know) and therefore I have lots of homework and stuff to do. This means that I am taking a chunk out of my time in order to continue my account here on DA. It also means that any projects or requests I have at the moment will take longer to do than usual but I am trying my best to do those while not falling behind in school.

Please bare with me on this. I am working with my good friends and on a fake pokemon region called Tropiclova, and that is taking a lot of my time. However, since it is such a big project, I have decided that I will alternate between a few updates on those pokemon and other artwork. If you have a request, I'm still doing requests.

As for collabs and art-trades, those are for sure postponed until after the Tropiclova project.
